Understanding Project 2025 Part 1

Project 2025 is a danger to our freedoms and the most threatening that I have seen in my life time.

I proposes the destruction of the U.S. government. We would be given theistic government, similar to Iran or Saudi Arabia or ....Israel where theists would have power and the executive branch would operate like a dictator.

A small number of people believe that the know what is best for America. A racist and homophobic power base would be established with these features:

1. No one would be able to say or write anything that makes White people feel guilty about slavery, oppression or any other colonial actions.

2. Interracial marriage would be outlawed.

3. Soon after the election of 2024, anyone who resists could be killed.

4. Civil Servants would be fired and replaced by loyalists (people loyal to the President.

5. There would be no more elections.

6. Government agencies like the EPA, Homeland Security, Department of Education and others would be abolished.

7. There would be no abortions for ANY reason ...even if the mother would die.

8. Military police could be used against civilians.

9. Christian law would rule the land (Heritage Foundation version of it out of 61,000 versions).

10. Death sentences would be carried out swiftly (no screwing around with lengthy appeals ...further, how many times has the Innocence Project found people were innocent?)

11. MEDICARE, SOCIAL SECURITY, UNEMPLOYMENT INSURANCE, LABOR RIGHTS WOLD BE DESTROYED.

12. A killing spree of opponents would be initiated against anyone opposed to this plan or who spoke out.

13. The Federal Trade Commission and Consumer Financial Protection Agencies would be abolished. No more freedom of the press and speech.

14. There are 925 pages of this and another TOP SECRET section are in place but not available to the public.

15. WE MUST NOT ALLOW DONALD TRUMP TO BE ELECTED. THESE CONSPIRITORS MUST BE ARRESTED AND TRIED FOR SEDITION.

Religious Freedom Gone Too Far: The Story of Kate Cox Should Horrify Us All

Texas Woman Denied Abortion for Nonviable Fetus, Flees State, “One of Thousands” in Similar Position

A Texas woman has had to flee to another state to have an emergency abortion after the state Supreme Court ruled against her. Kate Cox fled Monday after she had petitioned a judge to get an exemption from the state’s near-total abortion ban when her fetus was diagnosed with a fatal condition and doctors warned her carrying to term could endanger her fertility. “Unfortunately, it’s one of hundreds, if not thousands, of comparable stories,” says Dr. Bhavik Kumar, an abortion provider in Texas. “While these politicians say there are exceptions, somebody really has to be at death’s door before we can reasonably act in their favor.” We also speak with Tamarra Wieder, Kentucky state director for Planned Parenthood Alliance Advocates, who says the Texas case could have a “chilling effect” on people seeking abortions elsewhere in the country, including in Kentucky, where a pregnant woman is the lead plaintiff in a new class-action lawsuit that argues the state’s ban on abortion violates its constitution. “These laws, restrictions and attacks don’t happen in a vacuum,” says Wieder.

Island of Access: VP Harris Visits MN Abortion Clinic in Historic First Amid Growing Restrictions

In what is believed to be the first time a president or vice president has publicly toured an abortion clinic, Vice President Kamala Harris visited a Planned Parenthood location in Saint Paul, Minnesota, on Thursday. The visit was the latest in a nationwide tour by Harris to highlight reproductive rights. In her remarks outside the clinic, she lauded Minnesota’s efforts to protect abortion rights in the face of what she describes as a “very serious health crisis,” with restrictive laws and outright abortion bans in more than a dozen states. Clinics in Minnesota have seen a drastic rise in appointments for reproductive healthcare as one of the last remaining access states in the region, says our guest Megan Peterson, who adds that it is “really important” that the Biden team not take pro-abortion voters “for granted.” Peterson is the executive director of Gender Justice Action, a reproductive rights group working in Minnesota and North Dakota. We also speak to professor Michele Goodwin, who calls the consequences of state-level abortion bans since Dobbs v. Jackson a “trail of horrors” that are “antithetical” to science, health and human rights.

This is Why People are Fleeing Here. They are not Immigrating

This is why people are fleeing here. They are not immigrating

Former Honduran President Juan Orlando Hernández was found guilty of cocaine trafficking Friday after a two-week trial in a New York federal court, where prosecutors accused Hernández of ruling the Central American country as a narco-state and accepting millions of dollars in bribes from cocaine traffickers in exchange for protection. He faces a possible life sentence. Hernández served as president of Honduras from 2014 to 2022 and was a close U.S. ally despite mounting reports of human rights violations and accusations of corruption and involvement with drug smuggling during his tenure. Hernández was arrested less than a month after his term ended and was extradited to the United States in April 2022. “The majority feeling is satisfaction, a feeling of progress in achieving justice,” says activist Camilo Bermúdez from Tegucigalpa. He is a member of the Civic Council of Popular and Indigenous Organizations of Honduras, the organization founded by Berta Cáceres, the Lenca Indigenous environmental defender who was assassinated in 2016 while Juan Orlando Hernández was president. We also speak with Dana Frank, professor of history emerita at the University of California, Santa Cruz, who says the 2009 U.S.-backed coup against President Manuel Zelaya set the stage for the corrupt governments that followed. While U.S. prosecutors may have convicted Hernández, Frank stresses that multiple U.S. administrations “legitimated and celebrated him.”

“The Trauma Is Immeasurable”: Palestinian Writer Susan Abulhawa on Israeli Violence in Gaza“The Trauma Is Immeasurable”: Palestinian Writer Susan Abulhawa on Israeli Violence in Gaza

Palestinian novelist, poet and activist Susan Abulhawa recently returned from two weeks in the Gaza Strip, where she witnessed firsthand the destruction and misery wrought upon the territory and its people by Israel’s relentless assault.

Abulhawa spoke with Democracy Now! last Wednesday from Cairo and said “the trauma is immeasurable” for the Palestinians in Gaza. Abulhawa describes hearing stories of abuse, humiliation and torture at the hands of Israeli soldiers as people struggle to find basic necessities to survive. “The degradation is total,” says Abulhawa. “And on top of that, they’re bombed, day in and out.”

Toddlers are having their legs shot intentionally, People are forced to walk long distances with their ID’s and hands in the air…if they drop them or look down, they are shot by snipers. Women are stripped of their clothing and forced to lay in the winter cold on the ground with infrared sights trained on their bodies while bullits hit them at random. Babies left in incubators unattended because exhausted health care workers cannot get to them.

Alabama Supreme Court Rules Frozen Fertilized Embryos are People

Reproductive center worker dropped a container of frozen fertilized embryos accidentally destroying them. The potential parents sued the center for wrongful deaths. The Alabama Supreme Court has ruled that frozen fertilized embryos are children. This destructive ruling has resulted in frozen embryos that NEVER can be destroyed....without murder or manslaughter charges being filed. That means that frozen embryos must be stored...forever....and...families must pay for storage ...forever....defective frozen fertilized embryos have been routinely destroyed. Now...they cannot be...and must be stored forever. Other states are now considering inacting similar laws.

The Alabama Chief Justice cited bible verses during his reading of the judgement ....in defiance of separation of church and state.
Theists must be removed from office.
We must vote Republicans out of office to preserve women's reproductive rights. Their positions defy science and place unjust situations on families all over the nation.
